Unfortunately due to a fire Bills exact date of joining the 100 club was lost and records don’t go back that far, but it has to over 40 years or more. Bill reminiced that Terry Ibbotson had set up a licensed bar in a rented room room in the Nuttal Street stand for the original 100 members and each member could ask a guest and some of the Rover players and sometimes the opposition team would all come in after the games hence a very happy environment was created. Of course times change but the Happy environment of the 100 club remains.Bills involvement and support for the 100 club has been consistent and we all all proud to have him with us and share the elation and depression that Blackburn Rovers bring so on Bill reaching the age of 90. I am sure all members wish him a very happy birthday and may more.
