Welcome to Blackburn Rovers 100 Club
Blackburn Rovers 100 Club was formed in 1971 by a group of loyal Rovers supporters whose aim was to provide a club where its members could meet socially and provide support to the Football Club. Initially there were 14 members including the then Rovers Chairman, Mr Bill Bancroft.
One of the most popular activities enjoyed by 100 Club Members is undoubtedly the four away trips organised each season. This entails executive coach travel, 3 course lunch at a conveniently located restaurant and tickets for the match. The choice of venue is usually up to a maximum of two hours travelling time from Ewood Park. Occasionally additional trips have been organised for specific big matches such as to Wembley Stadium for the Full Members Cup Final and the 1992 Play–off final and of course to Liverpool for the final Premiership match of the never to be forgotten 94/95 season.
Whilst Blackburn Rovers 100 Club provides great facilities for its members, one of its prime functions is to provide financial support to Blackburn Rovers Football Club. Since its formation the 100 Club has donated more than £350,000 to the Football Club. This includes £50,000 for the redevelopment of the Riverside Stand and £60,000 to the installation of the gardens around Jack Walker’s statue. In recent years the 100 Club has focussed its support on our highly successful Academy, this has helped improve the opportunities for the Academy to produce our talented youngsters of the future with Adam Wharton springing immediately to mind, amongst many others. Across recent years we have donated over £150,000 towards this area alone and have supported the development of our local gems.
